My Favorite online Craft Pattern resources
Time to share some of my favorite resources again! This time, craft patterns! I love looking for free patterns online. Sometimes to use them as is, and sometimes as an inspiration springboard to spur on my creativity. Here are some of the sites that I frequent:
Instructables.com - Very wide variety of how-tos. Also has a community to ask questions, get support, and answer other people's questions.
Whipup.net - Collects and links to all kinds of craft projects. Also has great resources for craft blogging.
FaveCrafts.com - Large and rapidly growing collection of user submitted projects and tips. Be sure to check out the
organization tip I submitted from my old blog!
FreePatterns.com - Great selection of free patterns, with a focus on needlework of all types.
Craft (@Craft) - Aside from all the usual great patterns, projects, and whatnot, they have a fabulous video podcast of how-tos.
DollarStoreCrafts.com - This site proves there are plenty of wonderful things you can create even when money is very tight.
OneHourCraft.com - Lots of great ideas for when time is what you lack.
Recycled Crafts - Collects and posts all kinds of crafts that use recycled materials.
Zakka Life - Wonderful variety of tutorials, and lots of fun holiday ideas.
FreeVintageKnitting.com - Beautiful vintage knit and crochet patterns that are now in the public domain and royalty-free.
