Spark An Idea Thursday: Picture it!
Sweater burn-out. We've all gotten it at some point. If not specifically a sweater, then some other large project. You knit and knit and knit, and you feel you're not getting any closer to finishing. You get frustrated, and tuck the work away somewhere so you don't have to think about it.
One thing that helps me is to take pictures of my projects periodically. Sometimes even every day that I work on one. When I get frustrated, I load the pictures and review them (after the hot fudge sundae, of course). You'll find that you are actually accomplishing a lot more than you realize when you do this.

Try it with a project you're losing patience with. Each day you work on it, take a picture before you put it down for the night. You may be surprised to feel the enthusiasm creep back in when you see that you actually are getting further along.
