Technical difficulties, a Clapotis, and a sock
My hosting service is giving me fits lately. I’m giving serious consideration to switching from GoDaddy to something else if this doesn’t get resolved soon. Calling customer service doesn’t help me at all, because they don’t seem to understand what Central Time Zone is, and they always call back when I’m not home. I started poking around in WordPress just in case I had a rouge plugin, but that seems to have made things worse. If anyone has any insight or advice, I’d be glad to hear it!
Anyway, much knitting has been going on. I finished my Clapotis:

This was very fun to knit, and I found myself racing through each repeat so I could drop the next stitch. I’m just dying for an occasion to wear this out in public!
I’ve also got the first sock done for a knit-along I joined in the Gives Good Knit podcast. The pattern is called Norfolk Ramblers

I love this pattern, and I will probably make more socks from it. The combination of the lace and the Ringwood stitch was complex enough to keep my attention for a long time, but easy enough that it didn’t require intense focus. I’m about a third done with the second sock, and I can’t wait until I can wear them around.
