I sometimes like to spend free time puttering around on websites like
Digg,
Reddit, and
Kirtsy. I like browsing through the categories and picking out interesting things to read. The only bad thing is that when I'm in a specifically crafty mood (which happens often), it's difficult, if not impossible, to narrow down the categories beyond "Arts" or "Lifestyle".
When I found out about
Craftig, though, I was ready to do cartwheels if my bones would have allowed it.
Craftig is a place where anyone interested in crafts can share links to new projects, ideas, patterns, and freebies that they may come across in their web travels. It’s also a great place to help get the word out about the things that you’re creating at your website or blog.
The categories are broken up into all kinds of specific craft types, and there are even sections for the business end, whether selling online, or at craft shows. The site is pretty new, but it's growing fast. It's very easy to submit sites, too. Take a look for yourself. You may just find a new obsession! ;)
