Good news! There’s a new way to leave feedback, ask questions, etc. for the ADDed Personality podcast, The Balcony Farm podcast, and Knit Misadventures. I’ve set up a Google Voice number that will go straight to a voice mailbox. You can call it any time of day or night and leave a message, and your comment may be included in a future episode of the show!
You can call 219-595-ADHD (219-595-2343) from any phone, or you can click on the link in the sidebar and call right from your computer.

The Tiny Tote is a small felted pouch you can hook onto your purse strap or belt loop to keep your mobile phone handy. Due to the nature of wet felting, your finished size may vary a little, but the resulting bag will be approximately 3” tall, not including the handle.
Instructions are provided for circular needles (either 1 or 2), then are repeated for double pointed needles. I have used Paton’s Classic Wool with great success, but I have also had good luck with handspun wool.
Materials:
*Size 8 circular needle for magic loop (OR 2 circulars for knitting in the round)
OR a set of 4 size 8 double pointed needles
*Worsted weight yarn, 100% wool
*3/4” tack button OR any other similar size shank button
Abbreviations:
CO = Cast On
K = Knit
P = Purl
M1 = Make one stitch (pick up and knit a stitch from under the bar between stitches)
K2tog = Knit 2 stitches together
rnd = round
st = stitch
YO = Yarn Over
SSK = Slip knitwise, Slip knitwise, (slide back to left needle) Knit the two stitches together
WS = Wrong Side
RS = Right Side
DPN = Double Pointed Needle
Instructions for 1 or 2 circular needles:
Body:
* CO 30 sts and join in the round
* K 10 rnds
* Increase rnd: [K1, M1, K to 1 st before the last st on needle, M1, K1] repeat once to finish rnd
* K 10 rnds
* Repeat increase rnd
* K 10 rnds
* Decrease rnd: [K1, K2tog, K to last 3 sts on needle, SSK, K1] repeat once to finish rnd
* K1 rnd
* Repeat decrease rnd
* K1 rnd
* Graft closed with kitchener st or three needle bind off
Strap:
Pick up and knit 6 stitches on one side of the cast on edge
* Row 1 (WS): K1, P4, K1
* Row 2 (RS): K across
Repeat these two rows for approximately 5 inches, or to desired length.
* Buttonhole: On next RS row, K1, K2tog, YO twice, K2tog, K1
